So I grew up with a pretty talented family. My older sister Tasha is, in my opinion, a piano prodigy who can play any modern or classical piece you put in front of her. Anything. From Mozart’s Symphony No. 40 to the theme song of Super Mario. My younger sister Taryn also has magical fingers, but instead of pouring out her skills on the keyboard, she silently composes cute and dazzling crafts alone in her room, unbeknown to Etsy. Take these amazing necklaces for instance. She graciously decided to hand-craft a necklace for me to wear on my wedding day using an assortment of Japanese seed beads and 17 swarovski crystal rivolis (ranging from sizes 14mm, 16mm, and 18mm…each rivoli is embellished with 3mm and 4mm crystal bicones…her words exact). It looks amazing! It evens comes with matching earrings.
She had already made the bridesmaids’ necklaces, but after completing mine, she decided to start over just so the bride and her ladies could match. The necklaces and dresses were intended to complement our wedding colors (red and teal).
Thank you sistah for all your hard work! I just hope my neck isn’t too fat :)
P.S. Yesterday was day 5 and I gave in 30 minutes to midnight by eating a molten lava cake at Chili’s with Ben, Val and Greg. Do I regret it? Heck no. You never regret eating a molten lava cake. Even if you’re 400 pounds and you know you’re going to die of heart disease if you consume just one more gram of sugar. You still go for it.
