Not to sound all “punny”, but I’m falling for this season. It’s one of the most beautiful times of the year and I can’t get over how red the leaves are. I was curious as to why they turn so red; apparently, glucose gets trapped in the leaves after photosynthesis stops, and the sunlight and the cool autumn nights cause the leaves to turn this glucose into a red color.

Well it’s settled then. Sugar is awesome and we celebrate it by passing candy out to children once a year. Yay!
